Do you bring a second photographer?
Yes. Our standard coverage includes two photographers. That gives you multiple angles at the same moment, separate coverage while each partner is getting ready, and built-in redundancy throughout the day.
How many hours are included?
Packages are offered at 6 hours, 10 hours, or unlimited. We’ll map a timeline that fits your plans—from getting-ready through the reception. Extra time can be added in advance or on the day.
How and when do we see our photos? Can family order prints? How long is the gallery live?
A preview set of 6–10 images goes live on our blog/socials a few days after the wedding. Your full set is delivered in a private online gallery for you, family, and guests.
Typical turnaround for the full gallery is 3–5 weeks. Anyone can order prints directly through the gallery—no need for you to collect requests. The gallery stays online for 3 months. If your package includes high-resolution files, they are delivered around 3 months after the wedding or when the album (if included) is finished.
Do you provide a DVD, and who owns the copyright?
High-resolution files on DVD are available and are included with any package that includes an album.
Copyright remains with Joe Foley Photography. With high-resolution files, you receive a personal, home-use license for printing and display for you and your family.
Do we get every photo you take? How much editing is done? Do you deliver RAW files?
You receive a curated set. Technical misses and close duplicates are removed. Delivered images receive color, exposure, and contrast tuning plus stylistic finishing to match our look; about 25–33% are presented in black and white.
A typical 10-hour wedding yields 700–900 photographs.
RAW files are not provided.
How are our images backed up?
Cards are copied to a laptop and a separate external drive on the day. Back at the studio, files are added to a central archive with both local and cloud backups. Until archiving is complete, cards and drives are stored in separate locations. After delivery, a copy of the final set is also retained by our gallery host, even after public access closes.
Do we sign a contract?
Yes. All terms are set out in a written agreement.

A signed contract and a 40% retainer reserve your day.
